The London 2012 Olympics open yesterday in grand style, and Nigeria came out in full force with a total of 53 athletes tp participate in sports ranging from Track/Field, Basketball to Kayaking & Boxing.
The team entry was classic Nigerian. A lot of dancing and drenched from head to toe in our ever famous green & white.
One of the athletes to watch our for is Blessing Okagbare who won bronze in the 100m in Beijing and is one of the favorites to win the gold this year. The Nigerian mens basketball team will be competing at the olympics for the first time ever.
